‘Lion’ Visit Adds Lunchtime Color to College Campus

The 'lion' takes a liking to a young spectator Drum and cymbals accompany the traditional dance Youngsters from the Children's Learning Center get a close-up look A noontime audience was treated to a traditional “lion dance” and martial-arts exhibition Thursday, courtesy of the International Student KonXion. Visitors from the Tai Yim Kung Fu School in Kensington, Md., re-enacted an ancient village legend of a beast’s transformation from destructive enemy to protective friend, entertaining and playfully interacting with the crowd that gathered outside the Susquehanna Room.
