Nearly 50 flags from around the world – including 18 countries from which Penn College students, faculty and staff originate – are hanging in the Madigan Library in observance of the United Nations’ International Day of Peace. Flags from the U.N. and many of its member countries will be displayed through Saturday, designated “as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples.”
