Librarian Chosen for 2009 Edition of ‘Who’s Who in America’

Tracey Amey Tracey Amey, librarian for digital initiatives at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Madigan Library, was selected for inclusion in the 2009 edition of “Who’s Who in America.”

Amey, who made presentations at several library-related conferences during the past year, will be included in the 63rd edition of the annual publication. “Who’s Who in America” provides biographies of more than 100,000 leaders and achievers from across the country and from every significant field of endeavor from business and politics, to health care and science, to entertainment and the arts.

A Penn College employee since the Spring 2005 semester, Amey coordinates the library’s electronic databases and catalog, along with other information retrieval and delivery initiatives.

She holds a master’s degree in library science from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. She also has worked for Congress in Washington, D.C., and in academic libraries along the New Jersey shore.
