Legacy Scholarship Fund Gets Boost from Homecoming Events

A pair of Student Government Association-sponsored events raised $1,189 for the Student Leader Legacy Scholarship Fund, a scholarship program that encourages student leadership at Penn College. According to a final report from Cassie M. Pickens, assistant director for programming for the Student Activities Office, Thursday’s Donkey Basketball game brought in $554 ($399 in ticket sales and $155 in donkey reservations) and Saturday’s first-ever Homecoming Car Show added $635 in registrations to the fund.
