Laura A. LuttrellLaura A. Luttrell, a dental hygiene major from Elizabethtown, has been chosen by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Student Government Association as "Student of the Month" for September.

Among her extracurricular activities, this month's honoree is vice president of The Student American Dental Hygienists' Association and participates in SGA.

"She will stop whatever she's doing to listen, help with any problems, give advice or a shoulder to lean on," her student nominator wrote. "She is very responsible and takes pride in all she does, including schoolwork, being a leader and role model, not only in Health Sciences, but to the entire campus. It's nice to see someone who always has a smile on her face, and someone who will devote her time, no matter what."

SGA regularly selects a "Student of the Month" based on commitment, service, role-model behavior, academics, leadership and campus involvement. Watch PCToday for the next round of nominations.
