Late-Night Tutoring Now Available

Academic Support Services announces that all currently enrolled studentsnow have access to a free,online tutoring service called SMARTHINKING.
SMARTHINKINGprovides on-line tutoring assistance in accounting, biology, chemistry, economics,math (basic through calculus II), physics, Spanish, statistics and writing.
You can access SMARTHINKING from any computer with an Internet connection. Simply log onto the Web site , enter your entirePenn Collegee-mail address as your user ID, then use your nine-digitcollege ID number as your password.
Live tutoring for math is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Physics and biology tutors are available Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m.-1 a.m. All other subjects havetutors availableSunday through Thursday, 3 p.m.-1 a.m., and Friday and Saturday noon- 6 p.m. You can, however, submit questions or pieces of writing any time, andyou will receive a response within 24 hours.
The professional tutors available throughSMARTHINKING will help you work through your questions and develop problem-solving strategies, but they will not do work for you.
And, as an added bonus, Academic Support Services will be giving away $5 Food Services gift cards to fivestudents who use the service between now and Sept. 30. Students will be chosen randomly and winners will be announced Monday, Oct. 3, on PCToday.
