‘Ladies’ Night Out’ to Benefit American Cancer Society

Ladies Night Out, described as an “evening of pampering” in support of the inaugural Making Strides Against Cancer walk, will be held in Penn’s Inn at 5 p.m. Friday. The evening will bring together about 30 vendors of varied services from hair care to exercise, makeup to travel, leather goods to leisure. There also will be a silent auction and refreshments. Vicki K. Killian, a Dining Services employee, helped organize the event as a member of this year’s Leadership Lycoming class through the Williamsport-Lycoming Chamber of Commerce. It is just one of the American Cancer Society benefit programs being held in advance of October’s 5K jaunt along the Susquehanna River Walk.
