Wildcat batters pounded out 20 hits in the two games.

Penn College saw its four-game win streak end in the first game against Penn State Schuylkill, but it bounced back to win the second game. D'Andrea went 3-for-3 with a double in the loss while Hoffman went 2-for-2 and Sara Gamble (Northern Potter) 2-for-3 in the win.

Theresa Witherson (DuBois) hit a home run, but it was just one of two hits the Wildcats could muster and accounted for the lone run in a first-game loss to Lehigh Carbon. Penn College had seven hits in the second game, including a triple by Hoffman, but dropped that contest, too.

The Wildcats closed out the week by outscoring Penn State Scranton 33-1 in a doubleheader, with Boyles picking up both pitching victories on a two- and three-hitter, respectively, with four strikeouts in each game. Pacing the team offensively in the first contest were Gamble, who went 2-for-2 with two RBI, and Erica Kaiser (Lancaster Catholic), who went 2-for-3 with three RBI. In the second game, D'Andrea went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBI while Ann Allton (York Catholic), Brittany Blessard (Bucktail) and Jen Miller (Bellefonte) each hit solo home runs.

Men's Volleyball Penn College went 6-0 in matches and 17-1 in games during two four-team tournaments over the weekend and now awaits the Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference playoffs April 23.
