K-12 Educators Tour Penn College to Students’ Benefit


Colin W. Williamson, dean of transportation technology, tells a group of educators about the partnerships Penn College has made with automotive museums to create a new automotive restoration technology major Richard K. Hendricks Jr., instructor of machine tool technology/automated manufacturing, answers questions about job opportunities in manufacturingSchool counselors and other K-12 educators spent the day on campus Wednesday to participate in Penn College’s semiannual College and Career Readiness Conference. Hosted by the Outreach for K-12 Office, the event provides opportunities for educators to tour various academic programs and participate in roundtable discussions, providing information that can help attendees in their work as they help students navigate career and college choices.
