ITS Issues Announcements, Reminders for April

Information Technology Services has issued announcements and reminders for April.
Dates to Note All AS/400 screens and services, including the Employee Information System and Student Information System, will be unavailable from 7-9:30 a.m. Sunday, April 1.
General Reminders Faculty, Prepare Your Computer Lab Requests Please submit all computer lab software-installation requests by April 13. Installation requests received after this point cannot be guaranteed for the start of Fall 2007 classes. Direct requests to Gallahad Mallery, assistant director of academic computing services, at ext. 4927. Requests for Macintosh labs can be directed to Kevin Sullivan, ext. 7675.
Network Drive Cleanup Time Students and employees, please take a few minutes to delete old and unneeded files from your network drives (H, R & S). Don't wait until you exceed your H: drive space limits and find you can't save an important file.
Get Your Software Here! ITS reminds all employees of software agreements that extend to at-home use.
Faculty AS/400 Password Reminder Don't wait until the day grades are due to make sure you can log in to the AS/400 or EIS. Remember that this password expires every 180 days. Is it possible that yours has expired since last time you logged in? If your password hasn't expired, but you suspect it will in the near future, take the time to change it today. You can change your password by logging into EIS and selecting the "Manage My EIS Account" option.
Wireless On-Campus Printing Capability Students and employees using wireless laptops or tablet PCs now have the ability to print remotely to several on-campus printers. Directions are available on the ITS Web site.
Staff and faculty in all areas are urged to report any classroom audio/visual problems immediately to the Help Desk, ext. 7329 or send e-mail.
