Attentive students hear from experts A full house on hand for informative sessionInformation technology students and the IT Living-Learning Community attended an informative presentation on "Background Checks: Best Practices" Wednesday evening in the Student and Administrative Center presentation room. The program touched on professionalism on social networking sites and outlined some of the background checks that government and industry use to ensure that they hire a properly vetted employee. Speakers were Mike Harrell, a recruiter from Teksystems.com and FBI Special Agent Billy Ebersole. Penn College'sResidence Life Office offers a variety of living-learning communities on campus, bringing a variety of extracurricular opportunities to students enrolled in the same academic majors.
