A renovated dental hygiene clinic (ATHS, second floor) will greatly improve the teaching/learning environment for students and faculty. The modernized space will include state-of-the art technologies and spacious, comfortable workstations. (The former equipment was more than 20 years old and dated by health care standards.) The new layout for the clinic will be linear, which will resemble real-world dental office settings and improve HIPAA privacy compliance. The new layout will also maximize the lab space and allow for the inclusion of four additional student workstations.
