Homecoming Event Raises $1,240 for Charities

Andrew Lackman and Kristin Campbell this year's Homecoming King and QueenHomecoming 2005, themed “Turn Up the Heat,” was a great success despite the weather. Thirty-six students, representing 19 clubs and organizations, raised $1,240.35 in the Homecoming King and Queen charity event. At the Homecoming Dance, “A Night On Fire,” Kristin Campbell and Andrew Lackman − both representing Campus View Apartments − were announced as this year’s Homecoming royalty. The money raised will be divided equally between their charities: St. Jude Children’s Hospital will receive $620.73 on Campbell’s behalf, and the Lycoming County Habitat for Humanity will receive an equal amount as Lackman’s designated beneficiary.
