History of Penn College Aviation Majors to Be Explored

The history of the Aviation program at Pennsylvania College of Technology and its two predecessor institutions will be the topic of a Nov. 20 multimedia presentation at the Penn College Library.

In the noon-to-1-p.m. presentation, Thomas D. Inman, assistant professor of avionics, will discuss the evolution of the aviation program from its inception at the Williamsport Technical Institute, through its years at Williamsport Area Community College and Penn College.

The program is free and open to the public. The library is located in the Learning Resources Center at the College.

The Aviation program at Penn College includes bachelor-degree, associate-degree and certificate majors offered through the School of Transportation Technology.
