High Schoolers Experience the World of Plastics

    A Penn College plastics student, right, helps a high-school visitor to measure plastic film. Students from area high schools came to campus May 12 for The Plastics Experience. During their visit, they attended workshops in the college's plastics and polymer technology laboratories, and took part in a balloon launch. While students visited labs, teachers attended a workshop to learn more about the college's Mobile Poly Lab, which contains portable versions of industry equipment and rotates through area high schools.
