A 26-ton rock, donated by Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc., was special-delivered Friday by Allison Crane & Rigging, which likewise volunteered its services and equipment. Suggested by students who made a proposal to Penn College staff, “The Rock” will serve as a giant message board on which campus organizations can paint notes to promote events. “The Rock” is on the Bush Campus Center lawn, near the east end of the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center.
