Johnson's latest book, "Everything Bad Is Good for You," contends that the mental gymnastics necessary to follow multiple story threads in video games and other popular entertainment actually improve thinking. During his informal sit-down, which followed clips of his appearances on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" and television news programs, Johnson fielded student/faculty questions about his thesis.
