This week's Green Tip comes from Penn College's Energy Conservation Subcommittee via Penn Future: Beyond theEarth Hour, Saturday's global symbolic awareness of turning off selected power for 60 minutes, remember that "Changing how we use energy and what kind of energy we use is the single most important thing we can do to fight pollution." The weekly tip is a cooperative venture of the subcommittee (part of Penn College's Governance system) and the School of Natural Resources Management's Horticulture Department. Contacts for the feature are Gail B. Landers, group leader at the Children's Learning Center and a subcommittee member, and Carl J. Bower Jr., horticulture instructor.
