Graduating Members of Wildcat Tennis Team Honored During Match

Celebrating Senior Day for the tennis team are, from left, Robert Kemrer and his parents, Daniel and Wanda; Danielle Trout, with parents Rick and Deb; and Shane Burridge, escorted by parents Steve and Anne On Saturday, Oct. 16, the Penn College tennis team honored its three graduating seniors: Shane Burridge, Rob Kemrer and Danielle Trout. The four-year members of the team have helped the Wildcats to three consecutive Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference Championships. Head coach Aimee Plastow spoke on behalf of the squad, highlighting the seniors' hard work, dedication and enthusiasm to the team and sport of tennis. Burridge, an accounting major from Ephrata, is the Wildcats' No. 1 singles player. The 2009 PSUAC Individual Champion-First Singles, he finished the regular season at 6-6. Rob Kemerer, a technology management major from Milton, was the No. 4 singles player. He went undefeated in the regular season with a 10-0 record and captured the 2010 PSUAC Individual Championship-Fourth Singles. Danielle Trout, a marketing major from Harrisburg, was the women's second singles player.
