The WNEP morning team – Mindi Ramsey, Tom Williams, Joe Snedeker and Ryan Leckey – broadcast live from downtown Williamsport on Friday morning. Activities included an on-air interview with Community Arts Center executive director Rob Steele; performances by the Uptown Music Collective, Johnny J. Blair, the Curtin Middle School Choir and the Repasz Band (the members of which include Penn College’s Shelley A. Reynolds, procurement services specialist, on French horn; and Kent B. Bunting, assistant professor of English-composition, on baritone); cooking demonstrations by a number of local restaurants; a Soap Box Derby race down West Fourth Street between Snedeker and Big Brothers/Big Sisters; and a Zumba exercise segment with the Williamsport YMCA.
