Friday Matchups Officially Begin Wildcats’ NCAA Era

The campus community cheered Penn College’s new affiliation with the NCAA in the first of several Wildcat “kickoff” events starting this past weekend. Giveaways (including sunglasses and temporary tattoos), halftime competitions, a Fan Zone and concessions were featured, beginning with women’s volleyball against Lycoming College at 5 p.m. Friday in Bardo Gym and women’s soccer against Rosemont College at 7:30 Friday night on the Athletic Field. Other celebratory home contests will be men’s soccer against Alfred State at 7 p.m. Tuesday, women’s tennis versus Lebanon Valley College at 4 p.m. Sept. 18 and men’s tennis against Misericordia University at 4 p.m. Sept. 23.
