Franco’s Lounge in downtown Williamsport will host a Pasta Party from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, to benefit the Daniele Family Scholarship Fund at Penn College. The event will feature three kinds of pasta, three different sauces, bread, salad and sausage at a cost of $20 per person. Franco’s employees are volunteering their time and gratuities in support of the scholarship. Reservations are encouraged. The Daniele family owns and operates Franco’s Lounge and Joanna’s Italian Bakery and Specialties. The Daniele Family Scholarship Fund, established in 2009, will begin generating scholarship awards when it reaches an endowment balance of $25,000. The scholarship will benefit full-time students pursuing associate degrees in culinary arts technology or baking and pastry arts, who are residents of Lycoming, Bradford, Clinton, Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Sullivan, Tioga, or Union counties. Franco’s Lounge is located at 12 W. Fourth St.
