Fourth 'Casino' Event Kicks Off Extended Library Hours

    Students play poker and Guitar Hero Poker players fill two tables Blackjack players await the dealer The view from the top The Madigan Library held its first-ever Saturday night event this past weekend: Mixed Nuts Casino IV! The event was sponsored by the library, Student Activities Office and two student clubs: ACM and Film Hounds. More than 30 students were in the library which stayed open late for the event enjoying poker, blackjack, Scrabble and Xbox 360. A door-prize drawing was available to every student in the library at 9 p.m. Food Services dished out cookies, soda, pretzels and (of course) mixed nuts. The evening's prizes included cash, gift cards and DVDs. The fourth installment of Mixed Nuts Casino also kicked off the library's extended hours . A list of winners follows:
