Four Wildcats on Men's Soccer All-Conference Team

The Penn State University Athletic Conference announced its men's soccer all-conference selections this week and four Pennsylvania College of Technology student-athletes made the list.

Senior midfielder William DeAngelo (Dallas) and sophomore forward Chris Brennan (New Hope) were named first team all-conference, while junior defender Isaac Hostetter (Lebanon) and junior midfielder Ben Shade (Fleetwood) earned second-team honors.

The PSUAC All-Conference team is voted on by the head coaches of the conference institutions and is based on athletic performance throughout the season. DeAngelo led the midfield for the Wildcats and had three goals and six assists, while Brennan led the team with 14 goals and had three assists.

Shade came on strong the second half of the season and had five goals and two assists including two game-winners. Hostetter anchored the defense that had only a 1.27 goals against average and notched six shutouts on the season.

Penn College finished the season 13-7-2, capturing the PSUAC men's soccer championship.
