Twenty-five Penn College employees and 20 students were added to the list of Awesome Women Exemplars during the eighth annual reception, sponsored March 20 by the Student Activities Office. The latest group, suggested by nominators from within the campus community, brings to 270 the number of AWE inductees since 2006. Held in the Mountain Laurel Room of the Thompson Professional Development Center, the event included a keynote address by Meagan Murray, honored in 2009 with an Alumni Citizenship/Humanitarian Award.
