The former president of the American Council on Education and the University of Illinois visited Penn College on Thursday, including Madigan Library among the stops on his campus tour. Stanley O. Ikenberry, now a professor and senior scientist with the Center for the Study of Higher Education at Penn State, was led by President Davie Jane Gilmour; Robert E. Dunham, chairman emeritus of the college’s board of directors; and Paul L. Starkey, vice president for academic affairs and provost.
