Penn College celebrated International Women’s Day on Tuesday, joining the global recognition of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Members of the campus community were invited to stop by the Breuder Advanced Technology & Health Sciences Center patio to take selfies, enjoy sweet treats and express how they #ChooseToChallenge for equality. The event was sponsored by the Office of Student Engagement as part of the observance of Women’s History Month, which will include an Iconic Women’s Painting Party from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 22, on the Bush Campus Center patio; and a virtual Awesome Women Exemplars induction ceremony, set for Wednesday, March 24, on the Student Life Facebook page.
