Fighting Felines Rally 'round the Roar

    Roar, Wildcats ... roar%3FThe Penn College men's cross-country team was the literal cat's meow in competition Saturday, finishing first among nine teams "in the running" at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Student photographer (and former team member) Michael S. Fischer was on hand for the meet, capturing video footage of the athletes in action and of this pep talk from coach Mike Paulhamus. The Wildcats responded to his encouraging words with an impassioned shoutout to their mascot, adding a more subdued war cry that belied the sure-footed ferocity they eventually exhibited across the 5.1-mile course.
