Faculty Member Has Poem Published in Literary Journal

A poem written by Laura M. Dickinson, associate professor of English-composition at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was published in the Fall 2005 issue of North Dakota Quarterly.
The North Dakota Quarterly is a literary journal published by the University of North Dakota. Dickinson's poem is titled "Learning to Swim."
Dickinson earned a doctorate in American poetry at the University of Maryland, College Park. In 2001, she was awarded a grant in poetry writing from the Maryland State Arts Council.
Dickinson joined the faculty at Penn College in Fall 2005 after teaching at Capitol College in Laurel, Md., for eight years. Her work has appeared in journals such as Poet Lore, Poetry Northwest and The South Dakota Review.
