National symbols meet: A bald eagle found a fitting perch on campus Friday, stirring a great deal of excitement as the Penn College family gazed out windows and gathered outdoors to savor the moment of grandeur. It stayed atop the 120-foot flagpole at the main entrance for nearly an hour. The flag is a local landmark, the largest American flag allowed to be hung on a pole.
