Employees Learn More About the New Madigan Library

Ormsbee, director, provides faculty%2Fstaff with an overview of the Roger and Peggy Madigan Library.All Penn College employees are invited to attend the next informational session about one of the most exciting additions to the Penn College campus: the new Roger and Peggy Madigan Library.

The 45-minute session will be held at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Library Instructional Room (LRC, Room151). Light refreshments will be served.

The second such session was held Tuesday afternoon, providing college employees with an overview that contrasted the present library with the marked improvementsrepresented by the newer facility.

Aided by an interactive student-prepared presentation, library director Lisette N. Ormsbee pointed out the increased square footage, seating capacity, classroom space, computer labs and reference capabilities to be offered at the Madigan Library.

Barry R. Stiger, vice president for institutional advancement, updated the college community on the Madigan Library Campaign and outlined the variety ofgiving options including "legacy," or naming opportunities available to faculty and staff.
