Early Educators Attend Conference in Nation’s Capital

Albert, traveled to Washington, D.C., to attend the National Association for the Education of Young Children Annual Conference and Expo fromNov. 19-21. They attended workshops about the latest research and best practices in the field of early care and education, and attended lectures by authors of their textbooks and other experts in the field. In addition, they experienced a little of the culture of Washington, D.C., visiting Chinatown, seeing the White House and traveling on the Metro system. The students who attended are Jennalyn H. Cramer, Williamsport; Amanda L. Kelly, Ashland; Courtney M. McChesney, Lemont; Trena M. Paxton, Williamsport; and Tiffany L. Williams, Tyrone. Jennifer N. Bay, an assistant group leader at Penn College’s Children’s Learning Center, traveled with the group.
