Early Childhood Student Intern Featured in Area Newspaper

    Terri Karns devises educational activity for Will Holdren at Greenwood Friends School Terri L. Karns of Millville, an early childhood education major interningwith the Greenwood Friends School pre-primary program near her hometown, was featured in a recent edition of the Bloomsburg Press Enterprise. In the photo at left, which accompanied the brief item in the school's news roundup, Karnswatches as pupil Will Holdren, also of Millville, steps from a basin of cotton balls to one filled with warm water. Karns created the sensory activity to help the children learn to use appropriate adjectives to describe how different objects feel.
