Diversity-Related Events Make a World of Difference

Penn College’s commitment to inclusiveness was reflected in a pair of events this past week: the first in a planned monthly series of “Diversi-tea” dialogues and a themed dinner to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The former kicked off with a student-led discussion of relevant cultural issues, including the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals immigration policy, and the latter – among commemorative activities that included a concert, movie and campus displays – featured a Dining Services-prepared meal in Dauphin Hall.
