Development director named at Community Arts Center

The Community Arts Center has chosen Ana Gonzalez-White as its next development director, responsible for managing all fundraising and development activities for the 2000-seat, performing arts landmark in downtown Williamsport.

Ana Gonzalez-White“We are so pleased to have Ms. White join our team at the CAC,” said Sharon Mack, executive director. “We are just concluding our 25th Anniversary year and look forward to heading into our second quarter-century with a major focus on community engagement, relevant and inspiring programming, and fiscal sustainability. She will make a tremendous contribution to that effort.”

The Williamsport resident holds an associate degree in accounting from Central Pennsylvania Business College and a bachelor’s degree in communications/public relations from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to her new position, which is effective May 13, she spent five years at Evergreen Wealth Solutions as client relationship manager and marketing coordinator where she successfully helped bring the organization through major transitions. White brings to the role extensive experience in business administration, banking and finance, as well as deep community involvement and a passion for the arts.

“I look forward to the challenges and opportunities of this position,” White said. “My education and experience, coupled with my love and personal involvement with the performing arts, make this a great fit for me.”

Outside of work, White (who has four sons: Salvatore, Giancarlo, Santino and Giovanni) enjoys watching her boys’ many sports activities.
