Deihm Named Penn College ‘Student-Athlete of Week’

Tiffany Deihm named 'Student-Athlete of the Week' Tiffany Deihm of Mohnton, a graduate of Twin Valley High School, has been named Penn College’s “Student-Athlete of the Week” for April 7-13. Deihm, a freshman pre-nursing student, has excelled on the mound for the Lady Wildcats women’s softball team, posting a 4-0 record with 28 strikeouts in 24 innings of work and a 2.08 earned run average. Through Sunday, the Penn College women owned a 6-2 record. In their last five games, all wins, they had outscored their opponents 52-4. Each Monday, coaches who are in season nominate a student-athlete from their team. Nominees then are evaluated by college athletic office personnel, who select the student-athlete of the week.
