Danielle Trout Named ‘Student-Athlete of the Week’

Danielle Trout Danielle Trout, of Linglestown, a freshman guard-forward on the Penn College women’s basketball team, has been named “Student-Athlete of the Week” for Dec. 9-15. During a game Dec. 10 against Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Trout showed off her defensive hustle and team play with 12 steals, 13 rebounds and seven assists, nearly achieving a triple-double. A graduate of Central Dauphin High School, Trout majoring in business administration: small business management and entrepreneurship. is averaging 7.1 points per game for the season. The Lady Wildcats enter the semester break with a 7-2 overall record. They are 5-1 in Penn State University Athletic Conference games.
