Dance-a-Thon Raises Nearly $1,700 for Cancer Society

McCall among tireless dancers Line-dancing instructor puts group through its paces Energetic moves and altruistic spirit meet at Dance-a-Thon It was a long, but successful night for the Penn College Dance-a-Thon, which raised a total of $1,698.36 for the American Cancer Society. Three student organizations the Student Government Association, Residence Hall Association and Wildcat Events Board sponsored the 12-hour "Dance for Hope" that began at 6 p.m. Friday. Twenty-six dancers lasted throughout the evening, as well as 12 visitors and part-time participants. Collin A. Zimmerman raised the most money ($201), and PC Alliance was the top fund-raiser among student organizations ($672.50). The Student Activities Office thanks the organizers and the college community for its support, and looks forward to another successful event next year! Photos by Amanda M.
