Crime Alert Update: Man Charged With Swindling Students

    The person sought in connection with numerous "swindle" reports was taken into custody Monday afternoon in the 800 block of West Third Street by the Williamsport Bureau of Police after officers were alerted by Pennsylvania College of Technology students. City police ask that anyone who may have been a victim of this person and who has not yet reported it should do so by calling (570) 433-3166. Crime Alerts, as well as any updates, are posted to the Penn College Police Web site as warranted.
