Courses to Enhance Supervisory Skills of Front-Line Leaders

A pair of multi-session programs, to be offered by Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology, are designed to develop supervisory skills.



The Penn College Front Line Leadership program focuses on meeting the unique challenges faced by front-line supervisors. Each course, to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the college’s Klump Academic Center, contains four modules and covers multiple topics across core competencies.

“Supervisory Fundamentals: Understanding Supervisory Roles and Functions, Fostering Effective Communication, Building Collaborative Interpersonal Relationships, and Promoting Contemporary Leadership Practices” will be held May 24 and June 11; and “Teamwork and Cooperation: Understanding Team Roles and Responsibilities, Developing Team Skills and Processes, Resolving Team Challenges, and Enhancing Influence and Negotiation Skills” will be held May 23 and 30.
