Construction and Design Students Honored With Scholarships

Students Honored by Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and ContractorsFour students enrolled in Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Construction and Design Technologies have been honored with scholarships by the Merit Shop Training & Research Center, an affiliate of the Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.

The recipients, each receiving $1,000, are: Scott E. Bender, of Akron; Kevin L. Imes, New Holland; Bryan M. Noll, Reading, and Leonard A. Nolt, Mount Joy. Bender, Imes and Noll are enrolled in Penn College's building construction technology major; Nolt is a student in architectural technology.

In addition to the four Penn College honorees, the Merit Shop scholarships were awarded to seven other college students attending such prestigious institutions as The Pennsylvania State University, Clemson University, Drexel University and Virginia Tech.

Students Honored by Home Builders Association The Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Harrisburg has honored three Pennsylvania College of Technology students with $1,000 scholarships.

The recipients are: Anthony Jeneski Newport, a building construction technology student; Scott Shambach, of Middleburg, a surveying technology student; and Mircea Encui, of Williamsport, formerly of Hershey, a student enrolled in construction management.

HVAC Student Earns Scholarship Greg Fesko, a student enrolled in Pennsylvania College of Technology's heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology bachelor's degree major, has been awarded a $750 scholarship from the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers. Fesko, Johnstown, is a member of Penn College's student chapter of ASHRAE. .
