About 300 new students and their families attended the first Connections orientation program for the Fall 2009 semester, held June 24-25 across Pennsylvania College of Technology's main campus. The two-day program, required of first-year students, provides information on such processes as buying textbooks and selecting a meal plan, gives enrollees and their families a hint of academic expectations and social opportunities, and establishes the network necessary for a successful and rewarding college experience.
