Computer Fair Showcases Regional Students’ Creativity


Stand-up displays compliment instructional Web sites and streaming video Brushing up on Persian War history Students, instructor learn the 'truth about school lunches' The seventh annual Computer Fair for regional middle- and high-school students, sponsored by BlaST Intermediate Unit 17, was held Wednesday and Thursday in Penn’s Inn (CC, second floor). Penn College faculty/staff joined BLaST personnel in judging student entries in competition categories that included information- and curriculum-based Web pages, digital movies, multimedia presentations, desktop publishing, graphic design and logo development. First-place winners will go on to state competition, to be held May 19 (high school) and May 20 (middle school) at Dickinson College in Carlisle. Students also took part in a Quiz Bowl, peer review of their projects, workshops and campus tours during the two-day event.
