College’s Role in Soap Box Derby Included in TV News Report


28 Eyewitness News on campusPenn College’sparticipationinthissummer’sreturn ofthe Soap Box Derby to Williamsport − the event’s 52 cars will be assembled in the Carl Building Technologies Center on May 22 − was noted in a WBRE Eyewitness News segment Thursday evening. Channel 28’s Jeremy Deebel visited campus during the afternoon to obtain footage of the race-car kits, which are being stored in theSchool of Construction and Design Technologies’ masonry labpending the July 3 downtown event.
