Adults age 55 and older who want to learn more about using computers for fun and convenience may enroll in a noncredit course to be offered in October at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s North Campus near Wellsboro.
This easy beginners’ class, available through Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Penn College, introduces the computer for enjoyment purposes. The class will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Oct. 9 and 23, in the North Campus computer lab.
The instructor will lead participants through entertaining games, emailing friends and family, surfing the Internet, social networking, basic word-processing for letter-writing, and other enjoyable and practical applications.

The cost for each class is $79. No computer knowledge is necessary.
