College's first-ever Mardi Gras float makes its way through downtown Williamsport Penn College's first Mardi Gras float took home the $200 prize in this year's parade through downtown Williamsport. The honor was announced Wednesday night by K. Dex Tuttle, assistant director of programmingfor Student Activities, who, along with Residence Life coordinatorAshley A. Smith, spearheaded the float project. Students and employees prepared the float over the past four weeks, and Tuttle thanked all who supportedand helpedin its design and decoration.
