College's Horticulture Majors Receive Continued Industry Support

The $500 check was presented to horticulture instructor Carl J. Bower, faculty adviser to the Horticulture Technicians' Association, and will be used to send students to the upcoming Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) Student Career Days in Joliet, Ill.

This marks the third year that ValleyCrest has donated money to Penn College's horticulture program, for a total of $2,750 in contributions.

ValleyCrest also attended the Fall Career Fair in October at the college's Schneebeli Earth Science Center and spoke to many students about employment and internship opportunities with the company.
