College Wins ‘Spirit’ Award at National Conference

Ranck, manager of cash investments, and Sue A. Yeagle, student account specialist, attended the Higher One Users Group conference in New Haven, Conn., from Sept. 26-28. (The college partners with Higher One for quicker processing of student refunds.) The award was last on the list and described by Higher One representatives as “the most important award of the event,” Ranck noted. The trophy and framed certificate will be on display in the Bursar’s Office (SASC, Room 2098). The three-day conference was attended by 38 colleges and universities from throughout the country and was highlighted by keynote speaker John D. Walda, president and CEO of NACUBO (National Association of College and University Business Officers), and an appearance and greeting by John DeStefano Jr., the mayor of New Haven.
