Wendy Mertzeis was the first, winning a date with first-year student Chris Carroll, and Mindy Corcelious won a date with Jim Riedel. Each couple won a $25 gift certificate for dinner. About 30 students helped the women choose their dates via voting during the event, which was sponsored by the Sexual Awareness Week Committee and the Residence Hall Association.
