CMA Logs Impressive Service En Route to 'SGA Cup'

Construction Management Association members claim 'SGA Cup.'The Student Government Association recentlyannounced the results of its 2004-05 SGA Cup competition, in which student organizations receive points for attending campus activities and SGA meetings.

The SGA Cup competition promotes participation in the Penn College co-curricular experience. Any recognized Penn College group, club or organization was eligible to compete.

Congratulations to the following groups for their dedication to their organization and the betterment of the Penn College community:

  • First PlaceConstruction Management Association, $700 Out of an available 1,825 SGA Cup points offered, CMA finished with 1,745 points and attended 48 out of 50 events. In addition to having three of its active members as Senators of the School of Construction and Design Technologies, at least two other members also attended every SGA meeting.
  • Second PlaceSociety of Plastics Engineers, $500 SPE earned second-place honors by accumulating 1,665 points.
  • Third PlaceResidence Hall Association, $300 RHA earned third-place honors by accumulating 1,405 points.
  • Fourth PlaceWildcat Events Board, $200 WEB earned fourth-place honors by accumulating 1,145 points.
  • Wild CardsS&O and ISKA, $100 The S&O Club and ISKA also won $100 each through a wild-card drawing of all student organizationsthat earned a minimum number of points.
